I am often faced with fairly difficult decision what to eat for breakfast before race or test or any sort of hard and prolonged ride. I have condemned all sort of cereals.

I am often faced with fairly difficult decision what to eat for breakfast before race or test or any sort of hard and prolonged ride. I have condemned all sort of cereals. The volume that one has to consume to get long lasting amount of energy is just staggering and after such a load I feel like weather balloon. Usually I go for few slices of parma ham, nuts, water, chunk of butter or coconut oil. Sometimes top up of spoon full of duck or goose fat does the trick too. To mix it up I have tried new Banana omelette breakfast that I am finding very tasty and with required energy attributes. So today after waking up, I have smashed 4 eggs, whisked it into omelette and sliced Platano banana. Than mixed it all together and waited till the substance goes into omelette (obviously with help of a fire). Super easy. At the end, I have poured little honey on the top and the taste was just amazing. Done in about 10 minutes max and it covered all I needed for 4 hours test ride.
